For decades, many have seen therapy as a resource only for those suffering with major mental health concerns. We’ve been taught that reaching out for help is only ok when we have no other option; but this is far from true.
At NxtStep, my goal is to show how therapy can benefit our lives even when we feel things are “not that bad”. Today, people want more out of life than just making it through the day. Being the happiest, healthiest version of ourselves is a continual work in progress and it’s important to be ready for anything that may stand in the way.
I take pride in creating a space where no problem is too big or too small to tackle. I work hard to provide a judgment free environment where one feels both heard and understood. Opening up to a stranger can be hard. It takes strength to even acknowledge when there’s a problem that you may be unable to handle alone.
As a clinician, I am here to help you through that process. Together we can find the solution you need to take you to where you want to be. All it takes is that next step.
